To train and produce well balanced health cadres who have the knowledge, ability, commitment and spiritual motivation needed to provide health care services to the people in Uganda especially in the mid western region.

i. To produce medical cadres grounded in life skills informed by Christian values.
ii. To produce medical cadres who are well grounded in professional ethics and integrity for quality service delivery.
iii. To promote client-based service delivery at all levels of operation.
iv. To positively impact on the community by;
a) Training and producing well balanced medical health cadres.
i. Support neighboring communities with out-reach health education talks and trainings on disease control and prevention to ensure a healthy community.
ii. Offer discounted formal health training to learners from within the community who are poor but able, so as to uplift professional literacy within the community.
b) Providing employment opportunities to eligible workers who meet the following criteria;
i. Capacity: Technically trained and qualifying to offer the required service.
ii. Compensation and Remuneration: Ready to serve as required on the agreed upon terms and conditions of service.
iii. Commitment: Ready to give St. Martin priority especially in the teaching and training of learners.
iv. Passion: Ready with exceptional love to serve and support the development of the institute as a whole.
